Your Dream Is All You Have So Hold Onto It

M and MMaking the decision to choose your best life now is the first step in the right direction. Whatever we do in life is normally birthed from an idea we had. We may have taken time to research or rehearse the idea as we look for ways to make it a reality. And so it is with your best life.

You might have some idea(s) of what that would look like. Maybe it is something that you envisioned yourself doing or being at some point in your life. Maybe it came as a result of listening to a speech given by a motivational speaker, pastor or workshop presenter and it sparked something within you. A dream was birthed.

The question is, “what have you done about that dream?” Have you been rehearsing or researching it? Have you been looking for ways to make it a reality? If you have not done any of the above, it is now time. It is time to get moving. Each day that goes by is one day that you will never get back. Your dream is all you have so don’t let it die.

What if you were to capture that dream you once had and put a mental frame around it and then place it on the windshield of your mind? What might happen? I think it would at least get it in front of you once again. It would be something you see each day you begin your daily trek of life and your mind would help you find ways to accomplish your dream.

Here is what I want you to do at this point. I want you to:

  • Envision the dream and mentally frame it.
  • Place it on the windshield of your mind
  • Document ideas that will help you get there in whatever way that is most convenient and effective to you.
  • Not overlook the basic small steps. It’s the small steps that get you to the big step … your envisioned dream.

Whatever you do remember your dream is all you have so don’t let it die within you.

Each day, do one thing that you have on your list and take notice of where that one thing took you physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually or socially. Celebrate that experience.

I would love to hear from you how this exercise worked out. I would also like to hear your thoughts or questions on this topic. Drop me a line in the comment box found below.
