Weight LossHave you ever had a meal that was just an over the top good meal? A meal that had you savoring every bite that you take? It’s one where you utter over and over the phrase, “hmmmmh, this was good. Man, this was good.” Now that’s a good meal. If you had such a meal, you must have been at my house when I cooked. I’m just kidding on the last part. If you had my cooking, you would have been in the bathroom speaking from another part of the anatomy.

Seriously though, you know when you have had a good meal. I have had quite a few of those and I made sure to let the person or persons responsible know of my gratitude and appreciation.

A good meal not only satisfies the stomach, it also evokes pleasant emotions such as happiness, warmth and gratitude. It opens the door to make possible what once may have seem impossible. It creates an environment of relaxation and conversation; for some … sleep.

No wonder food is one of those “must haves” at almost every gathering. No wonder obesity have become such a problem. Don’t get me wrong, I’m in no way complaining because I’m the first to say, “where’s the food” or be the one who leaves a no-food gathering and may say, “imagine, they had no food.” We, or should I say, I love food especially a good meal. I look forward to it.

What if there was something that we could have that is as or more satisfying but without the calories and no worry of becoming fat? What if, no matter how much of it you had, you not only felt as good from a good meal, but you never gain one pound? Would you be open to it?

The good news .. there is. It is called a meal of wise words. The wisest man that ever lived – Solomon – said this: Wise words satisfy like a good meal; the right words bring satisfaction. (Proverbs 18:20 NLT)

Now that you know you can eat and not gain weight, here is the recipe for this diet:

  1. Surround yourself with people of wisdom who can feed you with wise words.
  2. Choose those people from within godly circles.
  3. Learn from them by asking questions; lots of questions.
  4. Share that wisdom with others and so continue the circle of life – Lion King.

By following this recipe, you will be on your way to your best life now.
