3D ForGIFTness ReducedSummary:

Learn How To Forgive And  Receive These Five Health Benefits

  1. Emotional Health … the heart experiences emotional roller coaster rides as it is exposed to situations or people that reminds it of past hurtful events.  Being able to forgive eases the frequency of these experiences.
  2. Physical Health … the body responds to the internal turmoil it is put through byt the thoughts and the emotions by the manifestation of physical symptoms. Most times these symptoms cannot be traced to an actual physical source.
  3. Mental Health … the mind is kept in a torturous prison as it ruminates past offenses. This prison-like environment can become overwhelming at times to the point that the mind overloads. It shuts down.
  4. Relational Health … sometimes relational experience becomes a culprit for the resurgence of emotional allergies as I outlined in episode #15. These allergies hinders healthy and close relationship.
  5. Financial Health … the physical, emotional and mental stressors can be so intrusive in one’s life, that it affects their ability to produce; to work; to function. When this happens it leads to diminished income.

This episode will help you learn how to forgive when your mind is giving you all the reasons why you need to but your heart is protesting those reasons. In this second episode, I discuss the above five health benefits and introduce the second step in forGIFTness.

I relate my journey in this process and how I was able to forgive someone who had done me wrong. You will be taken behind the scenes for a brief moment to give you context as to how the principles of forgiveness, works.

There are two steps that will be outlined. In this episode I discuss the Second Step – “Releasing The Emotion”. This is not as simple as it sounds so I share the possible obstacles that have to be overcome and how to do that.

The 3 obstacles that I talk about are:

  1. The Injustice Gap
  2. The issues of Fairness And
  3. The issue of Revenge

The next episode we will conclude this 3-part series on forgiveness. I hope you will join me in that episode and share with me your thoughts and what other obstacles you would add to my list.
