CYBLN 032: How To Learn From Your Mistakes By Giving Yourself Permission

January 29, 2014

Podcast, Self Help, Your Dream

SUMMARY SHOW NOTES:

Learn From Your MistakeIn this episode my guest John Maurice share on a number of topics related to giving yourself permission to move forward even when you hit those walls that some would consider a failure. He refers to this as: Learn from your mistakes and move forward.

John has been an entrepreneur for most if not all, his adult life. He has learned valuable lessons from some of what others would call failure. His framing of those experiences gave him the confidence and the courage to keep moving forward. Having a grandfather who modeled hard work, perseverance and resilience, gave him somewhat of a blueprint on how you can learn from your mistakes.

Learn From Your Mistakes And Move Forward Key Points:

  • Choosing Your Best Life Now denotes skipping the “wait.” It’s taking charge of your own life and future now, rather than waiting for someone to determine what that should be for you.
  • Create your world and live in it. It is yours to do.
  • Give yourself permission to move forward.Learn From Your Mistakes
  • Outer and inner fear and how you are impacted by them
  • Asking what if and how can I make this possible questions
  • The need to have a mentor
  • See your stage of life as an opportunity to create an opportunity
  • Go and find the answer. Don’t feel like you have to know it all
  • The people who have succeeded have fallen but they know when to get back up
