CYBLN 024: The One Thing Successful Entrepreneurs Have In Common

Summary Show notes:

Successful Entrepreneurs Have This In CommonSuccessful Entrepreneurs – Midlifepreneurs, Solopreneurs, Mediapreneurs and every other ‘preneurs – have this one thing in common … they all jumped in. This is the key to open the door to success.

When so many others are looking in, they chose to jump in.

In this episode, I share how I came to this conclusion. It came about in a very unusual way as I outlined in this episode. Even though there was a bus load of people, including myself, who had gone to the sightseeing spot, where we all could have a similar experience, not all left having had the experience. Solomon expresses this thought in the need to persevere rather than to look at what we do as a sprint. In Ecclesiastes 9:11 he states:

Listen to the voice of one of my friends – Jared Easley – on Starvethedoubts.com to see how I would be intimidated if I was to compare my voice to others. This would also be true of voices of these guys I listen to on Podcast: Ray Edwards, Michael Hyatt, Jason Van Orden and Jeremy Frandsen, Cliff Ravenscraft, just to name a few. Thank God I don’t compare. If I did, I wouldn’t have jumped into Podcasting.

The Apostle Paul stated in 2 Corinthian 10:12

“… they are only comparing themselves with each other, using themselves as the standard of measurement. How ignorant!

I would love to hear what your thoughts are on “Jumping in.” What have you been hesitant to jump into? What have held you back? Continue this conversation by leaving a comment below.
