[Podcast] Reducing Regrets For Professionals In Midlife Transition

November 1, 2013

Podcast, Positive Mindset, Your Dream

Summary – Episode #19: HOW TO REDUCE REGRETS AT THE END OF LIFE FOR PROFESSIONALS IN MIDLIFE TRANSITION

In this Episode you will hear about issues or concerns that tend to happen at midlife. Some people refer to them as midlife crisis others as midlife stagnation while others see it as just a midlife stage. Whatever term you use to describe it, will describe what it is that those in midlife transition have in common – questions about the past, present and future.

Most of what you will hear in this episode has to do with Professionals in midlife transition. I do ask for women in midlife transition to give me some feedback as to what it is like for them. Are they dealing with issues of significance as most men in midlife transition deal with? I would love to hear from you if you fall in that category – women in midlife transition. Take a moment a leave me a comment in the box below or a 60 – 90 seconds voice message by clicking on the microphone to your right. If your message is one that I believe other members of my audience would benefit from hearing, I will include in upcoming episodes.

There are two books that I referenced in the show. They will be released on Amazon.com within a few weeks. Below you will see pictures of the covers. They are now in the editing process.

SORTING THROUGH YOUR PASSION

In trying to figure out your passion as I described in this episode, here is what it would look like. Here’s some of my own:

  1. Being part of a dynamic team
  2. Create a group of trainers who feel identified with my vision
  3. Have lots of free time
  4. Be in leadership
  5. Become a multimillionaire

Okay, if I took #1 and compare with #2 and #1 is more what I would like to do, then I would now compare #1 with #3. If #3 is now more what I would like to do, then I would compare #3 with #4. If it still holds true, then I would compare #3 with #5. If #5 takes precedent then it now becomes my #1.

I would then take #2 and compare with #3 etc. and do it all over again. But I would begin focusing on my new #1 and put all my energy into making it a reality. I hope that along with the podcast, helped.

Also, would you please rate this podcast on iTunes and leave a brief review by clicking on view in iTunes and then click the review tab. That would help tremendously in getting the word out! Thanks.

Because I would love to hear from you,  please take a minute and leave a comment below now or click on the voice recorder on the side of the page and leave me a 60-90 seconds recording. Thanks.
