SUMMARY:your perspective becomes your reality

You may have heard that “Your perspective is your reality” and “Perspective trumps reality.” Unfortunately, I agree with both statements. I used the word unfortunately simply because on both counts, your perspective – which is simply your opinion or conclusion based upon how you see things – forms the reality for most people. The problem is that this reality may not be the reality.

We all form conclusions based upon the criteria through which we filter information. We tend to come to conclusions based upon what our five senses tell us. The problem is that our five senses have been conditioned to process information a certain way, which may or may not be the right way. Most of our opinions are biased, which is very understandable.

However, these conclusions (opinions) of ours can lead us to incorrect behavior. We behave around what we conclude.

In this episode, I explore how we can reduce the risk of behaving in a manner based solely upon our perspective, which most times is simply that – our perspective. This may or may not be the reality.

The question is, “what if your conclusion is not the reality?” This is what I discuss in this podcast.
